Meet the Team
Darcy Burt
Darcy bought the business in 2001 and upholds the tradition of providing Cache Valley with insurance. He got his bachelors from Utah State University. Darcy also serves in the National Guard and enjoys helping people in the community. In his free time he loves spending time with his family.
Heather Burt
Heather graduated with her bachelors from Utah State and has been writing insurance since 2003. She always tries to help everyone she can with their insurance needs. When Heather is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family and cycling.
Jolene Merritt
Jolene is a native to Cache Valley, graduated from Utah State, and is active in her community. She has been working at Otto Derr Insurance since 1998. While she works hard in the office to help everyone, Jolene also loves working in her garden, camping, and playing softball.
Karli Breinholt
Karli joined our team in 2019 to write insurance and to be our marketing specialist. She grew up In Colorado but is attending USU and is an Aggie at heart. While she isn’t working or going to school she loves to be outside enjoying nature.
